Recorder Integrated Processor and Router
The RIPR brand line of recorders offered by CALCULEX includes three models – the RIPR Model 1201/1401, the RIPR 2600L, and the RIPR Model 2300. These recorders are designed for use in a variety of applications, from unmanned systems and commercial aircraft to military aircraft and flight test operations.
The RIPR Model 1201/1401 is a small, rugged, multi-channel recorder that features the industry standard CFast 3.0 removable memory, an open standard IRIG 106 Chapter 10 Packet Data Recording Format, and compliance with IRIG 106 Chapter 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. This model allows for input power from 5VDC, 28VDC, or 270VDC and includes command control options such as Ethernet/COAP, serial communication, and discrete time sync options such as IRIG B AM/DC, MIL-STD-15531, IEEE-1558, and GPS.
The RIPR 2600L is a 19-inch rackmount multi-purpose recorder/router/reproducer designed for laboratory or control room environments. Offering a wide array of I/O channels and local and/or remote data storage and retrieval media, the 2600L complies with applicable sections of IRIG Standard 106 Chapters 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. Its aggregate media data rate can reach up to 1600MB/Sec, and its users can access Analog and Digital High Definition Video with Audio recording, MIL-STD-1553 and 16PP194, PCM/UART/PULSE to 30Mbps, 10/100/1000 and 10G Ethernet, Fibre Channel 1G/2G/4G, ARINC 429 and 708, as well as command and control options such as Ethernet, serial COMM, MIL-STD-1553, and discrete.
Lastly, the RIPR Model 2300 deploys a compact, rugged, multi-channel recorder/processor that allows for up to two Terabytes of storage when equipped with removable FlashCache memory modules. As a brand that co-authored the USAF of IRIG Standard 106 Chapters 6, 10, and 11, CALCULEX data recordings comply with the applicable sections of these Chapters and Chapters 4, 7, 8, and 9 of the Standard. Its aggregate media data rate can reach up to 25MB/Sec or 125MB/Sec, with available card types including 4 Ch SD Video with Audio, 4 Ch HR Video with Audio, 8 Ch PCM/UART/PULSE, 8 Ch MIL-STD-1553, 32 Ch ARINC 429, and 3 Ch 10/100/1000 Ethernet. Command and controller I/O options include various discrete, serial UART ports, MIL-STD-1553, and Ethernet communication.
