Overview
The Calculex Model 1401 RIPR is designed for use on a variety of platforms and applications that require a small stackable/reconfigurable or fixed multi-channel & multi-format recorder.
The Model 1401 family of products delivers a generous mix of digital and analog ports in the baseline product. A selection of stackable/reconfigurable data & video I/O modules are offered and can be added to augment the product controller’s baseline capabilities.
The Calculex Model 1401 RIPR family can be rapidly configured and deployed to meet the unique data and video capture, processing, and recording requirement for almost any commercial or military data acquisition application.
Key Features
Customized Data & Video I/O As an example, Model M1401 part number 0920023 has been configured with 3 stackable modules to provide 8-channels of RS422 or Single Ended PCM, 8 Channels of Mil Std 1553 Bus, and 8 Channels of SD video. It also adds optional GPS receiver to provide time synchronization. All models — 1401, 1402 and 1403 — include Data-at-Rest solutions. The baseline controller adds additional 2 channels PCM input and 2 output. 1 Channel Mil-STD 1553 Bus, 2 Channels 1 Gb Ethernet Record Cmd/Ctrl/Publish, Serial Cmd Control, Analog Audio, and Discrete I/O. Time Synch via IRIG B AM/DC, IEEE-1588, and 1553.
Ethernet & Serial Control and Status Easily reprogram routings and link speeds. Integrable device status for real-time monitoring of all data links
Rugged MIL-STD Performance Qualified for operations in the harshest of environments delivering assured performance through high shock, vibration and other environmental hazards
Minimized SWaP M1401 RIPR offers an unparalleled advantage in platforms and pods that require minimized SWaP and maximized processing capabilities
